The Rise of Experiential Marketing

Experiential marketing has been on the rise for a number of years and it’s easy to see why. A report by EventTrack showed that 91% of consumers who attend a branded experience view that brand more positively, and 85% are more likely to go on and purchase a product or service.

As I’m sure you know, experiential marketing is a marketing tool that creates an experience between brands and their consumers. It is a non-traditional type of advertising that allows consumers to connect with a brand through their senses by immersing them in a fun and memorable activity.


Whilst a good experiential activity will make sure consumers put down their phone and fully engage, in true millennial words – if you didn’t Instagram it, did it really happen? A great experiential agency will ensure that not only have people fully immersed themselves in the activation, but that a large majority of the attendees post their experience with the brand social media. Even better, when you provide a photo or video opportunity to literally give consumers the branded content that you want them to post across social media.
